For the return engagement the following year, I was paired with Joy Bickell, an artist from Red Deer, Alberta. 

Joy started drawing in 2016 and has already illustrated several books. 

Her art graces all the titles in a series by Stephanie Hrehirchuk: “Anna and the Earth Angel", “Anna and the Tree Fort", “Anna and the Food Forest”, “Anna and the Christmas Tree”, and the forthcoming “Anna’s Lost and Found”.

She has also illustrated “No Home for a Pigeon” by Loree Dittrich and is presently working on “A Boy is not a Kitten” by the same author.
